My mother fell in love with this sweet boy, so instead of going away as planned, he stayed here! Zafar aka "Bear" is growing into a very tall, elegant and masculine saluki.
At the 2008 Saluki National Specialty in June, Zafar placed 4th in his class!
September 2008: Zafar went BOB at the Atlanta show!
November 2009 - In very limited showing, Zafar got another BOB and then went BOW at the Marietta shows. Zafar was first in his class (Bred-by) at the Eastern Regional Specialty.
June 2010 - Zafar placed 3rd in the large Bred-by class at the Saluki National Specialty
October 2010 - In his first show since the National Specialty, Zafar won WD and BOW for a 5 point major to finish his championship! He was shown and finished by my mother and myself.
